September 25, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., Metro Hall Rotunda – 55 John Street, Toronto, Canada. What a wonderful way to conclude Franco-Ontarian Day!
ACFO Toronto organized a panel as part of the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the Franco-Ontarian flag.
This 50th anniversary is much more than a symbol. It’s a reminder that our flag (and yes, despite my deep roots in Africa, I am also proud to be Franco-Ontarian!) Many thanks to panelists Dada Gasirabo, Gilles Marchildon, and Nicolas Rouleau for their thoughtful, bond-building contributions, as well as to our moderator Marjorie April for her insightful and dynamic presentation. Thanks also to Maïmou Wali, Jean Claude N’DA, and ACFO Toronto for creating this unifying moment. Together, let’s continue to build a Toronto where French has its place. Our flag is 50 years old and the fight continues!
